Nurse Anesthetist

A Nurse anesthetist, or CRNA, is an Advanced Practice Nurse. And Nurse Anesthetists are one of the highest paid advanced practice nurses in the field. A typical nurse practitioner (family nurse practitioner, neonatal nurse practitioner, etc.) has an advanced practice degree that lasts 2 years. Nurse anesthetists are educated for roughly 3 years (1 year more than your typical nurse practitioner) and specialize in one field of medicine- anesthesia.

If you are on this site you are either looking to become a nurse anesthetist or looking to hire a nurse anesthetist. If it is the former we at Advanced Practice Recruiters would highly advise any nurse (be you CNA, LVN, or RN) to advance your degree as far as possible. You are welcome to call us to discuss this if you have any questions about career changes. If you are the latter and you need a CRNA, you’ve come to the right place. We specialize in recruiting advanced practice nurses- specifically PA’s, NP’s, and CRNA’s. We have placed nurses from across the spectrum; from nurse managers to pediatric nurse practitioners to psychiatric nurse practitioners. We have been recruiting physician assistants and nurse practitioners since 2006 with some solid results.

The hiring demand for physician assistants and nurse practitioners increased by over 500% from 2006 to 2010. It is becoming more difficult to attract and retain highly qualified practitioners and the typical recruiting methods don’t work like they used to. Consider using a recruiter that is in the market currently and can work under your direction to find the best possible practitioner for your practice.
